I always do an X-mas Haul video. this will be my 3rd year doing it. It should be up here on Tuesday. For now, I will share a picture of the nails I did for Christmas.

I did a white mani with a digonal tip in China Glaze, Mistletoe Me! with a gold glitter over the whole nail. It is a very simple mani to do.

Swatches: Mitzi and Phoebe

Here are the swatches for the two Zoya mattes. I love the colors, especially Phoebe, I will have to get used to the formulas though as there is a bit of drag with the first couple of coats. I had to put on 3 coats of each, its not like they are very thin polishes, I just found that, with my long nails, it was harder to cover the whole length in on stroke, next time I put it on, I will probably put a layer on the tips first, and then put 2 coats over the entire nail. I can hardly wait till spring, as I feel that these are spring/summer colors and not fall/winter. though I suppose Phoebe could be used a bit in the winter, but it is a tad bit bright.

Meet Mitzi and Phoebe!

On Halloween Day, Zoya had a special treat. They had a special deal, any 2 polishes FREE, just had to pay for shipping. This deal was just to good to pass up on! I only payed $6.95 for the shipping. I have had my eye on Mitzi and Phoebe for a while now, so I knew exactly witch polishes I wanted the moment I heard about the deal. It was very surprising to me how fast I got them, I thought I would be waiting another 4 or 5 days. So Everyone, meet my very first Zoya polishes! They are both matte polish! Mitzy is a lime green. and Phoebe is a bright blue. I can't wait to try them out! Will have swatches up as soon as I can!

Butterfly Tips

This morning I came up with this design off the top of my head. I am so proud of myself because, this design was a bit of a challenge for me. I'm not very good at lines, so for me to do a design with spirals and line work, well, its a big accomplishment for me. I hope you all love them as much as I do. No video tutorial for this though, wish I had done one. But, I will  be happy to do one, if anyone really wants me too. ;)

Naked Crackle?

Hey everyone! So, about a week ago i got the Sally Hansen Crackle Overcoat in White. I wanted to try it out, but I didnt really want it over a dark color, in fact I decided that I wanted it to look like I had just put it on top of my nails with out anything as a base color. so I got out my China Glaze Heaven and put on two coats befor applying the crackle. It worked! I am so happy about the results, in my opinion, it looks girly and a bit sophisticated. What do you guys think?

Simple Purple Nails

Today I went with a simple purple design. I used Sephora's Raisin and then I used a Cina Neon Nail Art Pen in Purple. All I did was draw 2 virtcal lines and 2 horizontal lines intersecting randomly on the nail. Simple and Easy, well almost easy, those pens are not easy to use with your non-dominant hand. I asked for help with the other hand. I just could not hold onto that pen!

On another note, I need some ideas for my next video! What do you guys want me to do for a design? I have run out of ideas and inspiration is needed, so I though I would ask all of you. please leave a comment with some ideas. Thankyou!

Del Sol- Ruby Slipper

A while back I did a video review on Del Sol color changing polish. here is a video, in case you have not seen it yet.

Since that video I had not had the opertunatly to wear it again. But a couple days ago after taking off my red tipped nails and chopping them down just a little. I was thinking to myself,  I want to put polish on, but I don't feel like color or doing any designs. So, then I rememberd, Ruby Slipper from Del Sol. I applied my base coat and one coat of Ruby Slipper and then put on a top coat. Now, if I feel like color, all I have to do is slip outside. I dont have a picture of the ruby slipper outside, as it was a crappy day outside, but if you watch the video you can see what it looks like. here is a picture of it normaly. It is a fine glitter polish, so pretty, the picture does not do it justis. It looks like it dances on your nail. I recomend 2 coats if you go outside as my one coat was not very even, 2 coats would be better.

Konad Tutorial Fail

Haha, so I wanted to do a tutorial using the konad stamping kit. But for some reason today is just not my day, I failed so bad! It looks fine from far away, but up close, it is a mess. After the video I put a half pearl in the center of the flower, but did not take a pic of it, sorry.

As you can see, its croked and some of the dots are missing. here is the video for your laughing pleasure!

Filmed a video, but not sure about uploading it. HELP!

I filmed a video today, but its such a long video, like 15 minutes. I dont think anyone will want to watch a 15 minute video, and I can't make it any shorter. I've already had to do the video over 5 times. It's not a tutorial but it is an update/review/shoutout video. I just want to know, do you guys want me to upload it? Is it some thing you guys would watch? Also, for my next tutorial, should I do something with Crackle or my Konad Stamping Kit? I need help, lol.

I got my first Jesse's Girl Polish!

This weekend I stopped at Rite-Aid to checkout what they had. I picked my very first Jesse's Girl Polish. I got it in JULIEG, because it is named after one of my favorite youtubers of all time. This is such a pretty pink! Now, the only bad thing I have to say about this polish is, I don't like the brush. It is way too small! it was so hard to get an even coat on my nails. and even though the polish is thick, I needed to add a second coat just to make it look more even.

That photo does not do this color justice! its is a bit brighter then the camera shows. its actully so bright that against my pale skin, it just didnt balance out, so I decided to add a coat of Sephora by O.P.I Blasted Silver. it lightend the color to look balenced with my skin. Sorry in advance for the glare, not having a good camera day, lol.

Strawberry Nails

I was going to go strawberry picking today, but because of the rain, we decided to go to the movies. Last night I debated to myself weather to do my nails or not, because I had known it was going to rain. in the end I did them anyways, turned out so good! After we got out of the movies though, it wasnt raining anymore and the sky looked clearer. After getting home I found out that my Aunt and cousins had gone strawberry pickeing. they ad stopped by the house to see if I wanted to go. Can you beleve it, I missed them by 2 MINUTES!!  My parents where home and we always want strawberrys, so the strawberry picking team picked some for us. As soon as they got back with the box of delishious-ness, I grabbed the camera and the best strawberry I could find.

New Nail Shape!

Ever since I can remember I have always had my nails in a round shape. I never really thought about changing to a different shape. I have always really admired square nails though, everytime I would see a picture of some one with square nails, I would always think "I want nails like that!" It wasnt untill a few months ago that I started considering changing my nails to the square shape. I did not act on  the thought though, because I bealieved that it would never look good on me. I have skinny nails and I had heard that square nails look best on people with fatter finger nails.

Then last weekend i was talking to my aunt while I was doing her nails and we started talking about nail shapes and I mentioned I had always loved square nails. It was then as we were talking that I thought " What the heck! im going to try it! if it doesnt look good then I will round them out." The next day I took out my nail file and clippers and began a new chapter of my nail life, and... I AM LOVING IT!!!!  It takes a little getting used to though, becuase I had always been able to use the tip of my nails for various things. The squareness makes it more difficult to peal open those stubborn sticky ends of packages, and at first it felt weird to type as the tips of my nails always touch the keybored. It is better now that I have gotten used to it. sometimes I go to do something and I have a harder time with it still, but im learning.

So without further ado, here is a pic of my nails now, what do you think? Does it look good?

Sephora by O.P.I review

I love this polish! it is so pretty. its a sparkly silver, and as I said in the video it almost looks like there are diamonds in it. it is almost $10 but i beleave it is worth it. I wish I had some of the other colors too.
